Q: How much are the union dues?
A: Union dues vary depending on the union, and may be set as a percentage of your paycheck, or as a flat amount.
Q: Can my dues be increased?
A: Yes, dues are set by the unions themselves, and in most instances the local union has little to no control over the cost of such dues, or amount of any increases.
Q: Will I have to pay an initiation fee to join the union?
A: Most likely, yes. These fees typically range anywhere from $20.00 and increase.
Q: If the union wins the election, do I have to pay dues?
